Filipino culture recognizes fathers as the “haligi ng tahanan”—the pillar of the home. At Reliasourcing, we stand by this belief. So, on June 13, 2025, we celebrated Father’s Day by treating our amazing dads to a well-deserved rest and recognition.
A Space to Unwind and Refuel
Held in our recreational area, the event gave them a chance to take a break from their daily grind. With an atmosphere of soft lighting and music, each dad enjoyed a 15- to 30-minute back massage from professional therapists.
Boxes of donuts and snacks, handed out with warm greetings and a side of laughter, added to the relaxed ambiance. The casual setting gave everyone a moment to recharge, share stories, and bond with fellow fathers across departments.
To top it all off, the fathers of Reliasourcing had the opportunity to avail themselves of big discounts. They could secure good deals for a getaway trip that they could enjoy with their families.
Voices of Fatherhood: Dads of Reliasourcing
We asked a few of our Super Dads to reflect on what fatherhood means to them.
Lean, 30, our safety officer from Mandaluyong and a father of two, shared that he wakes up daily for his family and parents.
Since becoming a father, he has felt immense joy, a kind that helps melt away exhaustion and stress whenever he sees his kids at the end of the day, “Nakakawala ng pagod, stress, kapag nakikita mo yung mga anak mo pag umuuwi ka” (It helps with losing fatigue, stress, whenever you see your children when you get home). He hopes to be remembered by his children for being caring, and dreams of a future where they finish their studies, live a good life, and remain God-fearing.
Justin, a father of two, also spoke of change.
From being carefree to becoming more responsible and hardworking, he now wakes up every day for his children, driven by the desire to provide for their needs and give them the best life possible. For him, being remembered simply as a good provider is enough, “Pangarap ko lang para sa kanila ay magkaroon sila ng happy and best life” (My only dream for them is for them to have a happy and best life).
Adrian, a father of two from the Admin Department and fondly known by many as “Kuya Soy,” reflected on how becoming a dad reshaped his focus.
From once being carefree, now he fully devotes himself to his family and rises each day for them, “Bumabangon ako para sa mga anak ko, sa pamilya ko” (I wake up for my children, my family), hoping to be remembered not only for raising them well but also for living a life of integrity. His dreams are simple yet meaningful: for his children to finish school, start their own families, and live good lives.
Ramonico, 40, father of one, draws strength and courage from his role as a provider for his family, “Doon ako humuhugot ng lakas at tibay ng loob” (That’s where I get my strength and resilience).
Fatherhood brought him maturity and a deeper appreciation of what his own parents experienced. He wants his child to remember him as a role model and a source of moral guidance. Above all, he wishes for his child to finish school, chase their dreams, and enjoy the life they choose.
Their reflections remind us that beyond their roles at work, they carry even greater responsibilities at home. They anchor their families with love, wisdom, and hope for the future.
Lasting Impressions
As the day wrapped up, many walked away with treats and a renewed sense of appreciation. Some took home gifts. Others carried emotional reminders that their contributions at home and in the workplace were seen and honored.
